Foreign language learning result estimated
The measuring unit for study progress is the cycle of approx. 50 lessons at beginner level, about 100 lessons at medium advanced level and 200 lessons at the advanced level, after which course participants should master the extent of linguistic ability defined for the given level. The course effectiveness is checked in tests on completing cycles.
The estimated time presented here is based on the assumtion that lessons take place twice a week, in a group of up to 4 students.
Beginner level:
begin (level A1) 50 lessons, study time approx. 3 monthsbegin better (level A2) 100 lessons, study time approx. 6 months

- grammar: basic question sentence structures, announcements, imperative mode, adjectival degrees, personal pronouns, reflexives, possessives, questioning, undefined, indicating, numerals, prepositions, use of basic tenses.
Intermediate level:
better (level B1) 200 lessons, study time approx. 12 months
be better (level B2) 300 lessons, study time approx. 24 months
be even better (level B3) 400 lessons, study time approx. 36 months
- lexis: expressing opinion, justification, opposition, understanding short texts on professional subjects, such as technical texts, understanding information over the telephone and in short pieces of television material.

Advanced level:
the best (level C1) 600 lessons, study time approx. 42 months- lexis: very varied in life and business situations, such as commercial discussions, bargaining, advertising, placing orders, promotional offers, recruitment interviews, conflict situations etc. additional vocabulary, concerning professional sectors and interests of participants,

Advanced level C2:
better than the best (level C2) 800 lessons, study time approx. 48 months- lexis: as above, at very high linguistic level ability, presentations, negotiations and discussions; - this level facilitates enhancement in professional subjects, concentration upon linguistic nuances, and stylistic correctness, is preparation for the understanding of professional and popular scientific literature, reporting and audiovisual materials with a high degree of difficulty.

PLEASE NOTE:
Mastering the abilities referred to above may be accelerated or delayed, depending on:
- number and cohesiveness of group (most effective are groups 2-, 4-persons);
- frequency of meetings (most effective are lessons twice a week);
- input of own work (daily study at home of a minimum 15 minutes is very important);
- systematic participation in lessons (particularly significant when studying in groups).
