Be Better Club Team

The First Party of the Season

'To Be or Not To Be' was the leading theme of the evening, and provided the Members with the opportunity to explore the essence of Be Better Club.

Our new guests immediately felt at ease, as our club evenings always provide the perfect opportunity to speak foreign languages whilst enjoying oneself.

The delicacies provided by our partner, the Silva Rerum Company, were so delicious that not only did we eat them but also chatted about the taste, the ingredients of the salads and the wonderful aroma of the home baked bread.

Following such a pleasant start to the evening, all the club members were ready to undertake the task. The teams agreed upon the best vocabulary and formulations needed.
They practised and then presented their ideas with great aplomb.

You can view the effects in our movie...

The new academic year 2011/2012

This is the onset of a new academic year here, at Be Better Club. As usuall it is a time to meet new people and study the language in a different and unique way.
Use the language for real communication and enjoy it - the flexibility, target language communication and the special club atmosphere.

The recent OECD report will tell you, why it is a good investment.

So don't take the idea that the world ends in 2012 too seriously - start learning now.

YOUNG@HEART
The Be Better Club perspective

Young @ heart - I feel good & Hey ya! live przez spong3bong

On a Friday night people go out dancing, meet friends and at times they decide to go to the cinema. And there I was  - going to a Be Better Club evening. The only thing I did not know, was what we were going to watch. Surprising as it may be I waited for the start with a plate full of delicious salads and a glass of wine. And finally it began. Young@heart the title said.  It started innocently enough presenting a bunch of old folks in their eighties getting together once in a while to sing popular music. As the film continued it opened a visual love letter to all the members of the band. I stopped eating, drinking and all I could do was to stare at the screen with my mouth open and tears in my eyes.  When it finished and the lights were on again I knew that this was a special film in a special place with special people.
Imagine watching a film in a place where they wine and dine you. Imagine watching something of which you had no idea it existed until you saw it. Imagine that it added value to your life.
Now.  I call that a language club.

Be Better Club
Join The Barbara's Party

Every year on the first weekend of December we have a double celebration.
St. Barbara's Day and St. Nicholas's Day, which is the beginning
of the Christmas spirit within the club.

Be Beatle Party

On the 8th of October Be Better Club invited all club members and their friends to the Be Beatle Party, the main theme being the legendary Beatles group. Their captivating music took us to other dimensions, where each of us wished to sing Yesterday or Girl as loudly as possible and not only in English.

Our club guests with great commitment solved all the tasks prepared by our team and typically for our meetings thoroughly enjoyed themselves converting Beatles songs into other languages. The ideas were as creative as they were amusing and it was great fun, so be sure not to miss the next party.

Be Better Club at DWK Product Forum

October 2010 Be Better Club participated for the third time in the DWK Product Forum.

Thank you for the interesting exchange of opinion and talks - we wish to invite you to continue them in the comfortable interriors of Be Better Club.

Be Better Club gives a workshop in Dąbrówka

During the Polish-German exchange at the Dąbrówka Gimnazjum, Be Better Club teachers invited the participating students from Germany to a “ Brief Adventure in the Polish Language”, giving them an opportunity to learn a foreign language non traditionally.

The basis of the brief two hour session was managing in real life situations with no knowledge of the foreign language. This demanded determination, imagination, versatility, creativity, logic and the pleasure in achieving the goal, ensuring a fantastic atmosphere and a wonderful result of our short workshop.

The German group acquired the basic Polish expressions, without dislocating their jaws.
The Polish team gained practical knowledge of how to learn foreign languages and how they might be taught.
